Secretary to the Superintendent
Woodmore Local School District is seeking applicants for the position of Secretary to the Superintendent.
Job Objectives:
Serves as confidential secretary to the superintendent. Provides administrative support
services necessary for the effective management of district operations. Please see the attached for a full job description.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma and a satisfactory pre-employment ski)] test score.
Post-secondary secretarial or office management training is desirable.
Meets all mandated health requirements (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.).
Documentation of a clear criminal record.
Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies.
Bookkeeping skills and the ability to compute mathematical data accurately.
Congenial telephone etiquette.
Multitasking ability and strong diplomacy skills.
Proficient in office protocol and the use of information technology systems.
Proficient in data entry, spelling, proofreading, and the correct use of grammar.
Proficient in the use of computer software and maintenance of office records.
Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
Contract Days: 260 contract days per year

School Psychologist
Woodmore Local School District is seeking applicants for the position of School Psychologist for the 2023-2024.
Candidates must have a valid School Psychologist license for the State of Ohio or have the ability to obtain such license by August 1, 2023.
Job Description:
● Have knowledge of various testing protocols
● Understand and complete evaluation reports in a timely fashion
● Interpret diagnostic test results to students, parents, teachers and administrators
● Consult on RTI (including behavioral interventions) and Crisis Prevention/Intervention
committees
● Research new and ongoing programs to meet the academic, social and emotional needs
of students
● Train staff on evaluation processes
● Work independently with school staff and administration
● Ensure the safety of students
● Administers tests and/or recommends placement for exceptional and new students. Help
identify all types of exceptional students within the school environment.
● Consults on needs of students who are receiving special education services. Attends
case conferences on placement of individual students.
● Serves as a consultant on mental health topics for staff and interprets the school
psychological evaluation for teachers and parents.
Contract Days: 185 contract days per year
License: Professional School Psychologist License

School Bus Drivers

Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Successful completion of pre-service bus driver training program.
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus and passenger endorsements. Qualified to be covered by the district insurance carrier. Completes required ongoing training to maintain license and endorsements. Demonstrates a clear understanding/commitment to defensive driving practices and ability to deal with stressful traffic, weather conditions and passenger distractions.
Displays flexibility, reliability, self-discipline and a willingness to take on challenging tasks.
Embodies high ethical standards/integrity. Accepts responsibility for personal decisions/ conduct.
Maintains a record free of criminal violations that would prohibit public school employment.
Satisfactory pre-employment and ongoing random drug/alcohol test results. Stamina and ability to provide physical assistance and address student behavior problems.
Number of Hours: Full Route; as needed to meet the transportation needs of the school district.
Rate of Pay: Per Negotiated Agreement
