May 15 - at Margaretta 9, Woodmore 0 (Div. III Sectional) - The Wildcats did everything but score in their state tournament game. They had at least one runner reach base in six of the seven innings, but they could not push across a run. Junior Trace Murphy started and pitched all six innings allowing three earned runs while striking out seven. Sophomore Michael Seeger had three hits and senior Luke Avers had a double. The only inning Woodmore did not have a base runner was the fifth, and they had two runners aboard in the third and sixth frames. Margaretta pitchers recorded 13 strikeouts.
