May 24 - Div. VI Sectional - at Huron 15, Woodmore 14 (8 innings) - Woodmore fought back from a 12-6 deficit after four innings to take a 14-12 lead into the bottom of the seventh inning. But, the home team scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh and got a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the eighth to record the win. Seven different Woodmore players scored runs in the game and six different players had at least two RBI. Freshman Collin Perkins had three hits, three RBI, and he scored three runs while sophomore Gavin had two hits and two RBI. Sophomore Cole Potridge had one hit and three RBI. Junior Michael Seeger and freshman Robert Seeger each had two RBI. Sophomore Wesley Kayser scored four runs and had two RBI while senior Parker Hahn scored three runs. Senior Trace Murphy started and went 3.0 innings allowing seven hits and three earned runs. Sophomore Keil Almroth worked 0.1 innings allowing three hits and four earned runs. Junior Blane Overmyer pitched 3.2 innings allowing four hits and two earnd runs while senior Parker Hahn tossed 0.2 innings allowing one hit and no earned runs.
