April 28 - at Woodmore 5, Old Fort 3 - Woodmore scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to go ahead for good and earn the SBC River Division win. Old Fort tied the game at 3-all in the top of the fourth before freshman Colllin Perkins drove in one run with a double in the bottom of the fourth and sophomore Wesley Kayser followed with an RBI ground out. Perkins had two hits in the game. Sophomore Cole Potridge drove in the other Woodmore runs with a single in the first inning and a two-run home run in the third inning. Senior Trace Murphy started and pitched four innings to get the win allowing two earned runs and striking out eight. Sophomore Keil Almroth tossed the final three innings to get the save allowing one hit and striking out three. After Woodmore took the lead in the fourth inning, Almroth retired nine of the last 11 batters.
