Was the Defensive Player of the Year in the SLL as a senior
As a senior, had 112 tackles, 34 of those solo tackles, 24 tackle for loss, five sacks, 2 caused fumbles, and one fumble recovery
As a junior, had 101 tackles
Helped football team to state playoff berth all four years, including playoff wins in 1994 and 1996, the only two playoff wins in school history
Earned three letters in wrestling, setting a school record for pins in a season (33, 1997) which is the fourth-best total in school history
Played football at Kent State University for two years
