May 23 - Woodmore had four players earn all-league honors after a recent vote of the Sandusky Bay Conference River Division coaches. Senior Kara Schneider was a first-team honoree at an infield position. Schneider hit .397 with 35 RBI and 13 extra-base hits, including five home runs to equal the school record for a season. Three players earned second-team honors - sophomore Olivia Scavio as a pitcher, junior Kelsey Kaylor at the catching position, and senior Emmaleigh Lawrence in the outfield. Scavio had an 11-5 record with a 3.41 ERA. She had 61 strikeouts in 78 innings of work. Kaylor hit .420 with 18 RBI and six doubles. Lawrence hit .338 with 22 RBI and four doubles.
