The boys freshman basketball team lost a 47-25 decision at home to Margaretta. Bowen Ish scored 13 points.
The HS basketball teams lost games at Lakota. The varsity lost, 49-43, as Carson Slates scored 19 points. The JV team lost, 35-32, as Parker Boss scored 12 points. And, the freshman team lost, 35-10, as Bowen Ish scored five points.
The JV girls basketball game tomorrow (Jan. 31) vs. Calvert will be a 2-quarter game beginning at 5:30, followed by the 4-quarter varsity contest.
The high school girls basketbal teams lost games at Gibsonburg. The varsity lost, 47-40, as Keira Travis led the way with 15 points. The JV team lost a 26-4 decision in two quarters as Karli Heins scored three points.
Our 7th grade STEAM Class is researching, designing, and building paper airplanes! Wildcats must test, evaluate, and possibly rebuild to make their paper airplane go as far as possible while keeping in mind the forces of weight, drag, lift, and thrust. Today, they were out testing and revising their designs in the cafetorium during class! 🛩️




The middle school girls basketball teams split games at Gibsonburg. The 7th grade won, 17-5, in a two-quarter game behind six points from London Renken and four popints from Kaylee Sandwisch. The 8th grade lost, 45-18, as Lydia Thomas scored 10 points.
The middle school boys basketball teams split games at home against Gibsonburg. The 8th grade won, 51-17, as Avery Clouse scored 16 points and Grayson Thatcher scored 15 points. The 7th grade lost, 36-20, as Tycen Thorbahn scored 10 points.

The girls varsity basketball game this evening at home vs. Eastwood has been cancelled and re-scheduled for Feb. 16 at 6 p.m.

The MS boys wrestling team finished 12th in the Northwood Invite. Benjamin Garber won the 116-pound weight class with a 4-0 record. Dean Jendrzejak and Noah Bell also placed.
The boys varsity wrestling team won the Van Buren Invite with 248 points. Woodmore had two champions - Michael Seeger at 190 pounds and Bailey Jendrzejak at 215. Aiden Cordy (126) and Landon Rich (175) placed second. In all, 11 wrestlers placed.
The HS boys basketball teams lost games at home to Oak Harbor. The varsity lost, 50-39, as Gavin Donley scored 15 points and Carson Slates added 12. The JV team lost, 55-36, as Mason McGee scored 17 points.
The high school girls basketball teams swept games at Old Fort. The varsity won, 63-19, as Ariana Florio scored 15 points, Kelsey Kaylor had 14, and Izzy Helmke 11. The JV team won 14-8 in two quarters as Emma Hahn scoored five points.
The boys varsity wrestling team won dual matches at home against Lake (61-9) and Rossford (70-6). Ten Woodmore wrestlers won two matches.
The boys 8th grade basketball team earned a 40-36 win at home over Lakota behind 16 points from Avery Clouse.
The boys HS basketball teams swept games at Northwood. The varsity won, 73-47, as Carson Slates scored 32 points. The JV team won, 62-46, as Parker Boss had 19 and Connor Orceletto added 18. The freshman won, 44-26, as Kielyr Overly had 16.
