Last week the Elementary and Middle Schools participated in "Stuff the Bus" with the bus drivers! All together, they collected just over 600 items to donate to Elmore and Woodville food pantries. As a fun bonus, the students got to put their vote for a staff member to get "pied" at the end of the week during an all-school assembly. Mr. Davis and Ms. Lafontaine ended up tying and both were hit with a pie by a student. Great job collecting goods, Wildcats! #WoodmoreNation

Last Thursday, some of the elementary staff and bus drivers passed out candy at the Woodville Fright Night! They even turned the Band bus into a mini walk-through Haunted House. How cool!

On October 10th Woodmore High School AP Biology and CCP Biodiversity classes gathered water quality data in two locations on the Portage River. The first location was at Ory Park in Elmore. Here we gathered data for NASA, Partners for Clean Streams, and TMACOG's Student Watershed Watch. Students will compile and digitally submit their data to each of the organizations websites: TMACOG: https://tmacog.org/water/student-watershed-watch NASA GLOBE: https://vis.globe.gov/GLOBE/ and https://www.globe.gov/web/woodmore-high-school Partners for Clean Streams: https://partnersforcleanstreams.org/projects/community-water-action-in-toledo/ The second location was at Earth Heart Farms in Oak Harbor. This provided a second location and down river point of comparison. This trip coincided with EHF's Field Day sponsored by the University of Toledo. After collecting data, we were led on a nature tour of the property where many frogs and grasshoppers were caught! Be sure to check out our Facebook page for more pictures from their trip!
