The 7th grade girls basketball team won its SBC Tournament quarterfinal game over Old Fort, 31-14, as Kaylee Overly scored 16 points and Adelyn Clouse added seven points. They advance to play the St. Mary CC/Lakota winner on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. back at Northwood.
The boys 8th grade basketball team won its SBC Tournament quarterfinal game against New Riegel, 48-19, as Joe Barr scored 16 points and Avery Clouse and Logan Perkins each scored eight points. They advance to play the Lakota/Hopewell-Loudon winner Wednesday at 5 p.m.
The HS boys basketball teams lost games at home to New Riegel. The varsity lost, 42-30, as Carson Slates scored 13 points. The JV team lost, 38-27, as Connor Orcelletto scored 10 points.
They do so much more than just help with schedules! Between the big goals and the daily hurdles, Mrs. Ramlow, Mrs. Howard, and Mr. Clair are always there for our students. This past week was National School Counseling Week, and we couldn’t let it pass without saying a huge thank you for everything they do for our Wildcats! 🩵💛

The middle school girls basketball teams lost games at St. Mary CC. The 7th grade lost, 19-16, as Makenzie Schave scored five points and Malorie Grove scored four. The 8th grade lost, 23-12, in two quarters, as Makenzie Schave scored six points and Lydia Thomas scored three.
The middle school boys basketball teams split games at home with St. Mary CC. The 8th grade won, 48-22, as Max Lizcano scored 10 points and Jacob Karchner added eight points. The 7th grade lost, 28-24, as Tycen Thorbahn scored eight points and Vince Taylor had five.
Day #3 of the 39 to beat games at the high school! 10 more students were eliminated today - only 18 are left!

Yesterday, the high school students continue with their 39 to beat games! We are LOVING this way to celebrate Winter Royalty!





The HS boys basketball teams swept games at St. Joseph CC. The varsity was a 73-42 winner behind 36 points from Carson Slates and 10 from Collin Perkins. The JV team won, 35-18, as Connor Orcelletto scored 11 points.
The girls varsity basketball team posted a 54-8 win at home over Northwood. Kelsey Kaylor scored 18 points and Keira Travis added 10 points. All eight players scored in the game.
The high school is running a competition called “39 to Beat” for Winter Royalty! They started yesterday with 40 students and eliminated 10 through a series of games at the end of the day. Today is the volleyball game where two additional people will be eliminated (pictures to come!). We are working towards our big winner on Friday!

All High School students interested in working backstage for the spring musical "The Little Mermaid," are invited to a meeting on Monday, February 9. The meeting will begin at 6 PM and will take place at the K-8 cafetorium in Woodville.

Mason Faunce and Willow Lewis had their pieces accepted into the 2026 Ninth Congressional Art Competition! The show will be displayed at Robert C. and Susan Savage Community Gallery at the Toledo Museum of Art from February 11th-March 2nd. Go check out their work at the museum!
Logan Campbell got his piece accepted into the Ohio House of Representatives High School Student Art Exhibition! This is a biennial show that allows only 1 students representative per district. Logan will receive a gift of $100 and his work will hang in the government buildings in Columbus, Ohio for two years!!
