The high school's Key Club is sponsoring it's annual Food Drive November 6 - November 17. The Food Drive benefits the Cherry Street Mission. Key Club has a goal of 1000 items this year. They accept donations of non-perishable food in jars, cans, and boxes. Donations can be dropped off in the high school lobby until Friday November 17th!

Our middle school had a Halloween dance last Friday! Most creative costume went to Lexi Martin and Coleton Shaner, funniest costume went to Luke Geldine and Kielyr Overly, and best group costume went to Jakob Trouten, Aylee Gutierrez, and Hailey Czaja. Congratulations!

The High School Band performed very well at State earning an overall rating of Excellent! The Flag Corps and the Percussion both earned Superior Ratings! Congratulations on an outstanding season, Band!

We are sending the Woodmore Band off to State this Sunday with Parade Escort out of town!!!!We are going thru BOTH towns!!! In Elmore we will leave the high school, go down Fremont Street to Maple Street then go through downtown Elmore then they’ll go over to Woodville heading down 105 into Woodville, then turn down Main Street in Woodville and continue on 105 to the edge of town!!! Please come out and support us as we head to Piqua!!🎶 🎶 The band competes at the OMEA State Marching Band Competition at 6:15 pm at Piqua HS. Good luck to our Wildcat Marching Band!

At the Woodmore Board of Education meeting last night, the high school named their October Senior and Student of the Month. Abby Sandrock was named the Senior OTM and Kelsey Kaylor was named the Student OTM. Congratulations to Abby and Kelsey!

With 5 goals in their win tonight over Genoa in the district semifinal, girls soccer player Kelsey Kaylor increased her season total to 39 a new school record, erasing the old mark of 34 set by Taylor Avers in 2010. It was the 9th time she has scored multiple goals in a game.

The girls soccer team posted a 6-1 win over Genoa in the Div. II district at Genoa. Woodmore will face Eastwood Saturday at 3 p.m. at Genoa. Kelsey Kaylor scored 5 goals and Izzy Helmke had the other Wildcat score. Layla McGinnis had 10 saves in goal. WHS led 4-1 at haltime.

Emma Hammer placed 6th in the Div. III district meet this morning in Findlay to earn a ticket to the regional meet next Saturday in Tiffin. She ran 20:35. Mallory Meggitt just missed a regional bid placing 23rd in 21:45. Drake Blausey placed 31st in 18:44 to lead the boys.

The girls soccer team earned a 7-0 win at home over Huron in a Div. III sectional game. Kelsey Kaylor had 4 goals to give her 34 for the season, tying the school record. Willow Lewis and Camille Strong also had goals. Taylor Hill had 3 assists.

Our Biddy Cross Country Team took 1st place at the Gibsonburg end of season team meet with a team score of 66 points! Hudson placed 2nd overall, running a 4:05 1km and Maverick took 3rd running a 4:08 1km. Way to go Wildcats!!

Congratulations to the Wildcat Marching Band for earning a trip to the OMEA State Competition! This past weekend the band braved the bad weather in Copley and earned Best in Class C and a Superior Rating to qualify for the OMEA State Finals! The band also earned Best Auxillary (Flag Corp) in Class C and Best Percusion in Class C. Great job Wildcat Marching Band!

The HS boys cross country team was 7th at the SBC River Division meet in Tiffin today with 165 points. Drake Blausey placed 17th to earn 2nd team all-league honors running 18:52.2.
