After much planning and preparation, the Woodmore-Penta FFA Chapter held their annual Hog Roast on October 6, 2023. Members set up in the high school cafeteria and prepared to serve the meals. Each meal included a pulled pork sandwich, baked beans, handmade cole slaw, a cookie and drink. We had a total of 35 FFA members help out throughout the night and sold 550 meals!
The chapter also set up a donation table for guests to donate to help with the costs of going to the National FFA Convention in November and raised an additional amount of $275. Thank you to all that donated and bought meals and helped to make this year's Hog Roast a success.
