The boys and girls Div. III district track meet at Gibsonburg was suspended early due to weather after only 2 girls finals and 1 boys. The girls 3200 relay finished second to earn a place in the regional meet next week. The boys 3200 relay team placed seventh, not advancing.
It's almost time for this year's COLOR RUN! If you have not turned in your permission slips, please do so as soon as possible! (If you haven't the revised slips will be sent home with your child this week!) Thank you!

The varsity and JV baseball games today (May 21) vs. Swanton have been cancelled.
Yesterday, we celebrated Career Day at the elementary and middle school! Our students got the chance to talk with adults from local companies about their careers and see some of the tools and equipment used in their fields! This was an amazing opportunity and learning experience for our students - thank you to our administrative team for organizing and thank you to all of the participants for being willing to speak to our students yesterday! The varsity softball team earned a 15-2 win over Lakota in 5 innings in the Div. VI district semifinal. Olivia Scavio tossed a complete game allowing 3 hits. Kara Schneider had two hits and three RBI. Kelsey Kaylor, Camille Strong, and Taylor Hill each had two hits and two RBI.

The boys finished second and the girls third in the SBC River Division track meet. Willow Lewis won the 800 for the girls. The boys had three winning relays - 400, 800, 1600 - and Drake Blausey won the 400.
The varsity baseball team lost 10-0 at Lake in five innings. Woodmore had two hits in the game and used three pitchers - Trace Murphy, Blane Overmyer, and Nick Horvath.
The JV baseball team lost 14-2 at Elmwood in five innings. Woodmore had just three hits and Keegan Strong and Dylan Schave had RBI. Strong started on the mound and pitched 3.1 innings, Schave tossed the last 0.2 innings.

Our High School FFA students put on one of our favorite traditions here at the elementary school today - Farm Day!! Cows, goats, horses, chickens, planting tomatoes, popcorn, flowers, tractors, and more! Best. Day. Ever!

The JV baseball team earned a 17-11 win at home over Margaretta. Woodmore scored 13 runs in the fourth and fifth innings. Blake Avers pitched four innings to get the win while Mason McGee had three hits and five RBI. Noah Day had two hits and five RBI.
The varsity softball team lost 4-3 in nine innings at New Riegel. Olivia Scavio started and worked four innings, Taylor Hill pitched the last the last five innings. Scavio had two hits and an RBI. Hill had a triple, her fifth of the season, to tie the school record.
The varsity baseball team lost 13-2 at New Riegel in six innings. Trace Murphy had the only Woodmore hit. Michael Seeger started on the mound and Parker Hahn and Keil Almroth also pitched.
On Monday, ALL of our band students put on their final concert of the year! Fifth grade band got to perform for the first time and our Seniors got to perform for their last. It was a great concert! Also, the standing ovation given from the high school band for each of the younger groups was amazing to see. Way to set an positive example, Wildcats!! #WoodmoreNation
