The MS girls wrestling team finished 24th in the Vantage Invite hosted by Fremont Ross. The only placer for the Wildcats was Alonah Buffaloe at 122 pounds where she was 2-2 and placed fourth.
The girls varsity basketball team lost a 48-30 decision at Oak Harbor. Kelsey Kaylor scoerd 11 points and Keira Travis added nine points. The JV team won a two-quarter contest, 16-13. Karli Heins scored 11 points.
The MS girls basketball teams split games at New Riegel. The 7th grade won, 19-10, as Malorie Grove scored 17 points. The 8th grade lost, 25-20, in overtime. Abbey Bland scored eight points and Makenzie Schave had six.
The boys HS basketball teams swept games at home with St. Mary CC. The varsity won, 46-44, as Carson Slates scored 15 points leading eight different scorers for the Wildcats. The JV team won, 45-33, as Parker Boss scored 13, Collin Perkins 12, and Connor Orcelletto 10.
Due to the still icy and unsafe conditions on some roads, Woodmore will be on a 2 Hour Delay Friday, January 16th, 2026. There will be NO early dismissal (school will dismiss at the normal time) and preschool (both AM and PM) is canceled . Stay safe, Wildcats!

The middle school boys basketball team swept games at home with Danbury. The 7th grade won, 34-23, as Rutledge Reiser scored 8 points and Vince Taylor and Tycen Thorbahn scored 7. The 8th grade won, 47-27, as Joe Barr scored 19 points, Chase Allen and Avery Clouse had 12.

The HS boys basketball teams lost games at home to Old Fort. The varsity lost, 59-35, as Camdyn Schwartz scored eight points to lead the Wildcats. The JV team lost, 48-29, as Connor Orcelletto scored seven points to lead the way.
The middle school girls basketball teams split games at Northwood. The 7th grade won, 21-20, as Makenzie Schave scored six points and Adelyn Cluse had five points. The 7th grade lost, 20-8, as Abbey Bland, Lydia Thomas, and Makenzie Schave each scored two points.

The HS and MS girls wrestling teams hosted a tournament today and the HS team placed third and the MS was 20th. Tinley Thieroff (105), Satori Alter (155), and Molly Hower (145) were runners-up in their wieght class. Alonah Buffaloe was 5th at 122 pounds in the JH meet.
Senior swimmer Emily Lang won the 500 freestyle in the SBC league meet yesterday at Port Clinton with a time of 5:49.11. She was also second in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:15.57. She earned All-SBC in both events. Congratulations, Emily.
