Congratulations to the Wildcat boys 400 relay team which placed fifth in the Div. V state meet final today in Columbus with a time of 43.71 to earn a spot on the podium. Members of the relay team were Lucas Caldwell, Auden Hemminger, Adyn Smith, and Landon Rich.
We have accumulated quite a collection of lost and found items at both buildings, including clothing, water bottles, and many other belongings. Make sure you stop by and see if any of the items are yours!
The High School will be donating all unclaimed items after June 30th.

The boys 400 relay team advanced to the final by placing 3rd in their heat in the Div. V state track meet. Their time of 43.56 lowered their school record. Members of the relay were freshman Lucas Caldwell, sophomore Auden Hemminger, senior Adyn Smith, and senior Landon Rich.
The 1600 relay team placed 9th in their heat at the Div. IV state track meet and 14th overall in a time of 4:09.76. The relay team members were sophomore Karli Heins, sophomore Wren Lewis, senior Ariana Florio, and junior Willow Lewis. Congratulations on being state qualifiers.
Congratulations to Woodmore senior Kelsey Kaylor who will be continuing her soccer and academic career at Heidelberg University in the fall. Best of luck at "The Berg".

The girls 1600 relay team of Karli Heins, Wren Lewis, Ariana Florio, and Willow Lewis finshed 7th in the regional meet tonight in 4:06.52 which likely will get them an at-large berth in the state meet. Official qualifying lists come out Sunday morning. Congratulations relay team.

The HS boys track team will have one relay team moving on to the Div. V regional meet Saturday morning at Fostoria as the 1600 relay team placed eighth in the prelims with a time of 3:45.47. The team is Adyn Smith, Myles Byrd, Coleton Shaner, and Landon Rich.

The high school girls track team had one qualifier for Friday's finals in Marion at the Div. IV regional meet. The 1600 relay team placed sixth in 4:08.37. The foursome was made up of Karli Heins, Wren Lewis, Ariana Florio, and Willow Lewis. A state berth is on the line Friday.

The varsity baseball team saw its season end with a 4-3 loss to Seneca East in nine innings in the Div. VI sectional game played at Buckeye Central HS. Seneca East scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings. Woodmore had just four hits in the game.
The varsity baseball tournament game against Seneca East at Buckeye Central HS at 2 p.m. today will be played as scheduled. Tickets are available available online on the OHSAA web site and with cash at the game.
The boys track team finished second in the Div. V district meet at Gibsonburg with 78 points. The 400 relay team and Myles Byrd in the 800 won district titles and Woodmore will have athletes in six other events at the regional meet next week in Fostoria.

The varsithy baseball team's Div. VI sectional game tomorrow at Seneca East is now scheduled for an 11 a.m. start at Buckeye Central H.S. (938 S. Kibler St., New Washington, OH). We will know tomorrow at 8 am if the game is good to go.
