The JV football game tomorrow (Sept. 2) will be played as scheduled at 10 a.m. at Wildcat Stadium against Lakota.
The Woodmore football team scored in every quarter on their way to a 40-16 win at home over Cardinal Stritch. Jack Caldwell had three early short touchdowns TD runs and Michael Seeger passed for a TD and ran for one. Landon Rich rushed for 116 of Woodmore's 257 yards.
The high school volleyball teams lost at home to Old Fort - the JV team lost, 25-17, 25-23; and the varsity lost, 25-15, 25-17, 25-14.

The girls soccer team lost a 3-0 decision at home to Norwalk. Layla McGinnins had three saves in goal and Camille Strong had two saves.
The high school volleyball teams all dropped matches at New Riegel - the freshman lost, 15-25, 20-25; the JV team lost, 25-17, 14-25, 16-25; and the varsity lost, 19-25, 22-25, 14-25.
The girls golf team finished third in an SBC Shootout at Oak Harbor GC shooting 206. Lily Myers shot 46, Sophia Repka 51, Abby Reineck 51, Satori Alter 58, Hali Ballard 62, and Jordyn Dunn 70.
The varsity girls soccer team played to a scoreless tie at Huron. Layla McGinnis had one save in goal for the Wildcats.

The girls HS cross country team finished 9th in the Eastwood Night Meet with Emma Hammer finishing 11th. The boys team was 13th with Drake Blausey finishing 106th. The boys MS team was 8th at Seneca East with Coleton Shaner finishing 19th. Ayla Henn was 79th for the girls.
The high school volleyball teams posted wins at home over Northwood. The JV team won, 25-15, 25-15; and the varsity was a 25-13, 25-10, 25-11 winner.

The girls soccer team posted a 4-0 win at home over Edison to open Sandusky Bay Conference play. Kelsey Kaylor scored three goals while Willow Lewis tallied the other score. Lyndee Wagner had the lone assist. Layla McGinnis had three saves in goal.
The girls golf team won a dual match with Genoa, 211-223, at Eagles Landing GC. Lily Myers shot 49, Sophia Repka shot 51, Abby Reineck 55, Hali Ballard 56. Satori Alter 63, and Jordyn Dunn 64.
The boys golf team finished ninth in an SBC Shootout at the Catawba island Club with a 216 team total. Kaiden Orcelletto and Kevin Wallce both shot 51, while Brandon Kayser shot 55, Mason Busdiecker shot 59, Jack Morris 62, and Brock Perry 65.
The varsity volleyball team opened SBC play with a five-game win at home over Gibsonburg, 22-25, 25-14, 25-23, 19-25, 15-11. The JV team dropped a 23-25, 25-18, 22-25 decision to the Golden Bears.
The varsity girls soccer game tomorrow at home vs. Edison will start at 6 p.m. instead of the 5 p.m. originally scheduled start.
The girls golf team played in an SBC Shootout at Mohawk CC and placed fifth with a team total of 228. Lily Myers led the way shooting 50, Sophia Repka shot 54, Abby Reineck 60, Jordyn Dunn 64, Satori Alter 66, and Hali Ballard 69.
The boys golf team hosted an SBC Shootout at Sugar Creek GC and placed ninth with a team total of 200. Kevin Wallace shot 46, Brandon Kayser shot 48, Mason Busdiecker 52, Brock Perry 54, Kaiden Orcelletto 57, and Jack Morris 57.
The girls soccer team opened the season with a 1-0 win at home over Oak Harbor. Kelsey Kaylor notched the only goal on a penalty kick with 4:58 left in the first half. Layla McGinnis had eight saves in goal.
