The MS boys cross country team placed 2nd at the Liberty Center Extravaganza with 77 points. The Wildcats had 4 runners in the top 22 led by a ninth-place finish by Cooper Martin running 11:57.62. The top finisher for the girls was Grace Blausey in 49th-place in 15:08.04.

Next week is Homecoming! To celebrate, all schools will be having a Spirit Week - and all of the info is here in one post! Our high school students are in red and our elementary/middle school students are in yellow. We're excited to celebrate! Be sure to keep an eye out for posts of all of the festivities to come next week!

After communicating with our alert provider this morning, we received this response as to why the 2 hour delay notifications did not go out:

All Woodmore athletic events scheduled for today (Sept. 17), home and away, will be played as scheduled.

The middle school volleyball team swept Northwood at home - the 7th grade won, 25-8, 26-24; the 8th grade won, 26-24, 25-11.

The middle school volleyball teams split matches at St. Mary CC - the 7th grade won, 25-21, 25-23; the 8th grade lost, 25-15, 25-18.

The boys middle school cross country team was 8th in the Tiffin Carnival among 38 schools. Cooper Martin was 33rd among 262 runners with a time of 11:58.6. Myles Byrd finished 75th in the high school race running 17:32.5. Peyton Damschroder was 49th for the HS girls in 23:00.5

The middle school football team lost a 36-16 decision at Hopewell-Loudon. Avery Clouse and Lukas Johnson scored the touchdowns and Logan Perkins and Johnson accounted for the two-point conversions.

The middle school volleyball teams split matches at home against New Riegel - the 7th grade won, 25-12, 25-14; the 8th grade lost, 25-22, 25-15.

The middle school boys cross country team finished sixth the Brodt Invite at BGSU with 176 team points. Cooper Martin placed 12th in 12:19.0 and Grayson Thatcher was 20th in 12:43.0. Grace Blausey ran 15:13.1 to place 95th for the girls.
