The varsity girls basketball tream lost a 40-36 overtime decision to New London in a Div. VI district semifinal game at Fremont Ross. Kelsey Kaylor scored 13 points and Camille Strong added 10 points. Woodmore ends the season with a 17-7 record.

The boys HS varsity wrestling team won the SBC River Division title with 203 points. Woodmore had 10 wrestlers in the finals with Landon Rich winning the 175-pound weight class and he was also selected as the Division's Outstanding Wrestler. Two other wrestlers placed second.
The HS boys basketbal teams split games at St. Mary CC. The varsity lost, 53-40, as eight points from Caden Hilt led the team. The JV team won, 42-18, as Parker Boss led 10 players who scored with nine points.
Senior swimmer Emily Lang was 2nd in the 500 freestyle in 5:24.91 at the Div. II district meet at BSGU to qualify for the state meet next Thursday in Canton. She also won her heat, and was 5th overall, in the 200 freestyle in 2:02.50 to likely qualify for the state in that event.

Dance Party Friday had a special guest this morning! Cocoa, the World's Finest Chocolate bear, has been traveling around the Elementary and Middle schools the past two weeks, visiting the classrooms that have taken out the most chocolate boxes each day. Today is his last day in the building, so he joined the Elementary morning fun!

As we all know, our sixth graders went to camp last week - but did you also know that we had twelve high school students go along as cabin leaders? We cannot thank them enough for their help and support last week! 💙💛
