Last Friday, our Woodmore Concert Band absolutely rocked their performances at the OMEA district level competition! They received a I, which is a "Superior" rating! This qualified them to perform at the state competition in April. Way to go Wildcats!!

The High School choirs had their Pre-Contest Choral Concert tonight and sounded great! All three choirs are set to perform Saturday at Oak Harbor for the OMEA Large Group Adjudicated State Contest. Good luck to Mr. Fullenkamp and all three choirs this Saturday!

The varsity wrestling team still has 4 athletes alive at the district meet at Rossford - Wyatt Thieroff (106), Brant Deal (150), Landon Rich (165), Jack Caldwell (175). All 4 have 1 loss after the 1st day of the two-day event which determine the state qualifiers from NW Ohio.

Due to the 2 hour delay last Friday, our final celebration of FFA week took place today at the high school. The students explained about FFA and official dress and then played a relay game with 5 stations and 5 students from each grade level. What a fun way to end a Friday!

Yesterday, two of Mr. Miller's classes had the privilege of hearing ODOT present. They provided each student with a folder of information and spoke on entry level positions, employability skills, and all the various career fields that are needed for ODOT to operate on a daily basis. Students were able to ask questions and they allowed time for individual conversations with students. What a neat opportunity!

Last night, our five seniors were recognized before their final home basketball game!

If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check out Window 2 Woodmore, our high school student publication! They recently had a guest writer (a former 5-time Associated Press sportswriter of the year in North Dakota!) who complimented the publication's series on the state of journalism. You can find Window 2 Woodmore here: https://window2woodmore.com/

(Be sure to check out our Facebook post to see all of the pictures!)
And don't forget that tonight is Senior Night! It will be the last time our five senior athletes will be on our home court. Come out and support them and the rest of the Wildcats! We hope to see you there!
