The 7th grade volleyball team lost its quarterfinal game in the SBC Tournament to Lakota, 25-17, 25-16; the 8th grade team beat New Riegel, 26-28, 25-20, 26-24, before losing to Gibsonburg in the quarterfinals, 25-17, 25-11.

The middle school girls cross country team was the SBC River Division Champion and the boys were second in the league meet today. Sonia Alarcon was the individual champion and Peyton Damschroder was 2nd for the girls, Cooper Martin was 5th for the boys.

The middle school football team earned a 22-18 win at home over Calvert. Lucas Caldwell had three rushing touchdowns and one two-point run. Bryce Ruch also had a two-point run.

The middle school volleyball teams split at home with Danbury - the 8th grade won, 25-16, 25-21; the 7th grade lost, 15-25, 25-10, 25-20.

The middle school football team lost a 35-8 decision at Lakota. Lucas Caldewell scored the lone Wildcat touchdown.

The middle school volleyball teams lost at St. Mary Central Catholic - the 7th grade lost, 25-23, 24-26, 25-19; the 8th grade lost, 25-10, 25-14.

The middle school rolled out its new PBIS model today! All middle school students were brought down to hear Mr. Davis explain how the new model will work and how they can earn rewards! How exciting!


The middle school girls cross country team placed 3rd in the Old Fort Invite as Peyton Danschroder was 8th in a time of 14:07.6. The boys team was 4th as Cooper Martin was 15th in a time of 12:42.2.

Last Tuesday, during the tornado warning, our bus drivers, Ms. Schling, Ms. Drill, Ms. Smith, Ms. Dickerson, and Ms. Wolford, did a phenomenal job of thinking on their feet and keeping our Wildcats safe! Whether they returned to the elementary/middle or high school, or took refuge in a district parent's home (emergencies call for out of the box thinking!), we have gotten so many reports this week of appreciation and praise for their efforts. Woodmore Nation appreciates you!


Due to inclement weather, the Band Buddies Night will be cancelled for the Woodmore vs. Gibsonburg football game tonight.

The middle school football team earned a 28-8 win at Gibsonburg as Lucas Caldwell scored three rushing touchdowns and Bowen Ish had an interception return for a TD. Also, Joe Barr kicked two extra points.
