Recently, Mrs. Cook's seventh grade students participated in an End-of-Course Olympic-Style Tournament to review for the State Test. Each day mathletes competed in a variety of team events including Relays, Sprints, Hurdles, and a Marathon, with Mrs. Cook was the official. They solved many problems relating to ratios and proportions, equations, the number system, and geometry. Points for correct answers were earned and accumulated for the team. After 6 days of competition, winning teams were awarded with gold, silver or bronze medals by the official. Great job, Wildcats!
